Q. Is it a real fire engine?
A. Yes. It's been decommissioned by the Fire Service. We have refurbished it with real leather seating for a comfortable ride, fitted it with seat belts,and installed an up to date CD system.
Q. How many can it carry at a time?
A.For kids parties, we can take up to 7 children and an adult. Our drivers are only allowed by law to carry up to 8 passengers. For adult nights and hen parties, we can carry up to 8 passengers.
Q. How long can I hire the fire engine for?
A. Normal hire is for one hour. However, you can book for longer. You can split the hire time into several shorter trips, depending on travelling distance, you decide !
Q. Are seatbelts fitted?
A. Yes. To all passenger seats
Q. Can we smoke?
A. Come on, be serious, we wouldn't want a fire would we !
Q. Can we bring alcohol along?
A. Yes, as long as you are 18 or over bring as much as you like.
Q. Can we bring our own music?
A. We do have a large selection of music but you can bring your own if you like !
Q. Can we have the blue lights and siren on?
A. Sorry no. As the fire engine is no longer an emergency vehicle we are not allowed to use them by law !
